Rooney record Iron Man theme
When Iron Man: Armored Adventures was launched earlier this year it was with a new theme song by Rooney – who gladly lent their musical talents to the animated action series’ opening moments.
The band also recorded a video which began airing on March 29, 2009 as a part of a sneak-peak of the cartoon before it began airing in April on the Nicktoons Network in the US.
Fans of the band were excited to have a new song from Rooney – even if they weren’t familiar with the show – though the song probably led more than a few fans of the band to get interested in the Iron Man cartoon.

Iron Man: Armored Adventures is a 3D CGI animated television series based on the Marvel Comics’ superhero Iron Man. It debuted in the USA on the Nicktoons Network on April 24, 2009, and has already begun airing on Canadian network Teletoon.
