Modern teenager takes on world threats
From classic Marvel comic to thrilling television series, the first season of Iron Man: Armored Adventures is making its way to DVD very soon.
Teenage Tony Stark is not only heir to a billion dollar corporation, but a genius with the means to hone his own technological experiments, which of course result in incredible inventions, taking on scientific mysteries and thrilling experiences. However, things go terribly wrong and Tony suffers the tragic loss of his father in an accident which would have cost him his own life if it weren’t for one detail – he happened to be wearing his greatest invention, a suit which makes Tony invincible.
Keith Dawkins, general manager of Nicktoons Network, and senior vice president of Nickelodeon Programming Partnerships, says of the series: “Iron Man: Armored Adventures continues our partnership with Marvel and offers the action our audience craves. From the fans who loved the live action film to those who can’t get enough of the comic books, this new iteration of the franchise offers a fresh take on the classic adventures.”
When Tony Stark dons his hi-tech armor, he not only has the ability to fly but to take on evil foes who seek control of the planet. In order to honor the father he lost, he uses his awesome technology to protect those around him from befalling similar tragedy or vice.
In the suit Tony is Iron Man and can fend off the most corrupt villains, and in a world of constantly evolving technology he manages to constantly update his armor in order foil the evil schemes of others. And he manages to do all of this while at the same time dealing with the everyday challenges of being a modern teenager.
