Iron Man: Armored Adventures utilizes multiple Iron Man suits
In the animated series Iron Man: Armored Adventures, a teenage Tony Stark becomes Iron Man and fights his enemies with the help of his high school friends Pepper Pots and Jim Rhodes.
After losing his father unexpectedly in a place crash, young Tony Stark realizes that it is his destiny to protect the innocents of the world from a similar fate – and he utilizes his genius IQ and the technology of Stark Industries to help him on his quest.
In the series, Tony’s Iron Man suit seems almost convertible in its ability to spread over his body. The armor works to create a force field around our hero, keeping him safe from enemies. Tony also has a few alternate suits to use in a crunch, such as the Silver Centurion Armor, the Stealth Armor and the Dynamo Buster Armor.
Besides featuring the ever-evolving technology that goes into the Iron Man armor, the show incorporates a number of villains from the comic book series, such as the Mandarin and Crimson Dynamo.
“For the most part, the villains that Tony faces are pretty much on target,” the series’ head writer explains to Comic Book Resources. “…You’ve got characters like Whiplash, Crimson Dynamo and Blizzard. The Iron Man rouges gallery is kind of a funny thing because there’s not a lot of stand outs in it. There’s a lot of weirdness in it too. You’ve got guys like Unicorn and Killer Shrike. You know, things that don’t make the top ten villains of all time. But at the same time you’ve got the Mandarin and the Living Laser, so you’ve got the big ones in there too. But we used as many as we could humanly possibly fit in there.”
