Iron Man: Armored Adventures proves its worth
The first season of Iron Man: Armored Adventures has been so successful around the globe that a new season is already underway from DQE, Marvel Animation and Method Animation.
And this month fans can not only look forward to the upcoming all-new episodes of the show, but the complete season one on DVD. Those who already own the Volume 1 DVD can purchase Volume 2 on April 19, and Iron Man fans who have yet to collect their own copy of the disc can pick up the Complete Box Set (Volumes 1 and 2).
“We are very proud to renew our fruitful collaboration with Marvel Animation and DQE for Iron Man: Armored Adventures season two,” said chairman and CEO of Method Animation, Aton Soumache. “These new adventures will provide even more stunning visual effects and entertainment for the delight of all Iron Man fans.”
The show centers on the adventures of teenage Tony Stark, whose life as the heir to billion dollar corporation Stark Industries is changed forever after a mysterious plane crash kills his father. Afterward Tony decides to use the incredible technology available to him – most specifically, his greatest invention of the Iron Man suit – to do battle against the corrupt.
And Eric Rollman, president of Marvel Animation, adds: “With the premiere season cherished by fans of all ages across the globe, we are thrilled to work with DQE and Method to bring season two of Iron Man: Armored Adventures to our loyal fans. We have a lot more action and excitement.”
When the first season of the show debuted in the US last year on Nicktoons network, it was to acclaim from both critics and audiences. The hour-long premiere became the highest rated premiere ever shown on the network, and the successful first season of the show continues to air on televisions around the world.
