Iron Man: Armored Adventures not to be missed
This Autumn, on September 7, ITV DVD will be releasing the anticipated first season of the animated series Iron Man: Armored Adventures. The package will include the first thirteen episodes of the series based on the Marvel comic book hero.
The cartoon features a teenage Tony Stark who, armed with his incredible technology, must defend the world from the forces of evil alongside his friends Jim Rhodes and Pepper Potts. Episodes featured in volume 1 of the DVD series include “Iron, Forged in Fire: Part 1 and 2,” “Secrets and Lies,” “Cold War,” “Whiplash,” “Iron Man vs. the Crimson Dynamo,” “Melt Down,” “Field Trip,” “Ancient History 101,” “Ready A.I.M. Fire,” “Masquerade,” “Seeing Red” and “Hide and Seek.”
Already the Iron Man: Armored Adventures is available for pre-order from sites like Play.com; pre-ordered DVDs are shipped out on the release date.
This 3D CGI animated television series debuted in the US on Nicktoons Network earlier in the year, and in addition to being released in the UK, it has also aired in Canada. The show is edited by comic book writer Christopher Yost, known for his work on several Marvel Animation projects such as Wolverine and X-Men.
This series is unrelated to the 2007 animated film The Invincible Iron Man – though the story is at times parallel and the soundtracks overlap a bit, Iron Man: Armored Adventures features a unique voice cast and is the first animated television series based on the comic book character since the major success of the recent live action Iron Man movie.
As Iron Man, the teenage prodigy Tony Stark utilizes his ever-evolving technology to battle various villains – in a series that is not to be missed.
