Iron Man: Armored Adventures Animated Exclusive
This week Marvel has posted some new and exclusive concept art from the critically acclaimed animated series Iron Man: Armored Adventures.
Marvel.com writes: “Witness Iron Man’s journey into adulthood in the animated series Iron Man: Armored Adventures. Follow Tony as he juggles homework, dating, hanging out with friends and saving the world!”
The exclusive stills feature some of the wide-ranging host of villains from the show – including Ghost, the Mandarin and the Crimson Dynamo.
Ghost – a hired assassin who loves both money and destruction – is pictured from episode 17 of the series, “Chasing Ghosts.” This episode – as well as all of 26 shows from the series’ first season – will be available on DVD April 19 as part of the complete Iron Man: Armored Adventures box set.
For fans who have already picked up Volume 1 of the DVD series, Volume 2 will be for sale by itself, and picks up in the show’s first season where the first DVD collection left off.
Armored Adventures tells the tale of a teenage version of Tony Stark, of which creator Chris Yost says: “We wanted to see Tony Stark, the Tony Stark that comic book fans and now movie fans know. We wanted him to be recognizable even though he is a teenager. So based on the premise of teen Tony going to school in high school our goal was how do we make it as much like the Tony Stark that we know and love as possible? Every episode and every story we really approached it like that.”
He adds: “The other thing that we’re really proud of with this show is that it is a villain’s show. There are so many villains in this show and it’s pretty great.”
