Iron Man Armored Adventures 2 looks like it will be another global success
The first season of the animated series Iron Man: Armored Adventures has been so successful on a worldwide scale that Marvel Animation is preparing to bring the show back for another season. The upcoming season will see 26 new episodes of the show brought to the small screen.
“With the premiere season cherished by fans of all ages across the globe, we are thrilled to work with DQE and Method to bring season two of Iron Man: Armored Adventures to our loyal fans,” Marvel Animation president Eric Rollman says. “We have a lot more action and excitement planned for season two and we are going to take the show to a whole new level.”
The show features a teenage version of action hero Tony Stark, whose time is taken up by studying, exploring the newest technology, and saving the world from would-be evil doers. Tony resolves to take a stand against corruption after barely surviving a tragic accident – the same accident that kills his father.
In order to take on the forces of evil, Tony utilizes the billion dollar corporation left to him by his father to mastermind his greatest invention yet – the Iron Man suit.
This spring will see the release of the Iron Man: Armored Adventures Series 2 DVD, featuring the latter half of the episodes from the show’s first season.
In a review of the upcoming disc, The Mommy-Files.com writes: “My boys love Superhero cartoons and movies! …They immediately had me open up the DVD and put it in the DVD player. They ran and grabbed their favorite superheroes out of the Superhero box and sat down, ready to see Iron Man in action. It’s a fun cartoon adventure for kids and adults!
